Product Description

4 ft Micro Practice Rod

Two piece graphite micro practice rod. These little rods are extremely well made and feature a genuine cork handle.

Each rod comes in it's own protective pouch and includes a special 'Blown Yarn' line and tapered leader.

Casting one of these things is incredibly addictive and if you really want to improve your casting these rods are the most effective tool out there.

The four foot micro practice rod behaves in a similar manner to a standard 6 weight 9ft rod loaded with 30ft of fly line.

Great for practicing indoors or out, and is an invaluable teaching tool for instructors.

This is the same model rod we used to demonstrate casts in 'Casts that Catch Fish'

    Nice to play with at weekends when your dreaming of fishing! No instructions/tips...may sound facile but arrives with minimal support, would show some belief in product if had some tips...eg which end to thread, why is there a looped section etc. feels very soft next to real thing (my 6 wt z axis) and slow so would disagree with comparison. Don't know what house the makers have but couldn't use indoors unless you live in a church! Great concept , under sold and under developed, could be a big seller with a bit more R & D.

    I purchased this Practice rod for my 13 & 15 year old sons & they can't put it down. They even practice with it inside our house on those rainy days when they are stuck inside. It's a great tool for learning loop control as well as many other aspects of Fly casting.I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys and wishes to improve their Fly Casting. It's just great.The service I received from "On the Fly" was first class also.
